Digital home for sustainable cider and food made with zero waste from local apples
Our task in this project was to create a website that would bring out the handcrafted and sustainable nature of the product combined with the story behind it while allowing for digital sales as well.
It is a family business for Nõmmann's, meaning that it's personal. It's always a bigger responsibility for the designer to start working with this kind of a project. You are creating the image not only for the product but for the family name itself.
Storytelling in e-commerce
For products – and especially handcrafted products – it's important to tell a narrative: where does the product come from? Why is it a great product? These are questions we want to answer through a story-telling technique so the user's interest is captured and retained. We combined this approach with a visual design direction by using videos and custom-made photos to create a unique experience.
