Iglucraft saunas and cabins are premium products – handmade and from all natural materials. The old website however was not reflecting these aspects nor was it communicating anything about the whole atmosphere around taking a sauna or enjoying the outside lifestyle.
We wanted the website to feel premium, but not distant or out-of-reach as the products also feel homely and cozy. Using mood photos we put the products front and center throughout the entire website. Additionally we added the story of Iglucraft to help build the brand image.
Efficient ordering and managing of customer flows and functions, aiming higher conversion. Introducing sauna culture to people outside of Estonia with story of the Sauna.

One aim of this new website was to bring out the sauna as more than just a product. Traditionally it has been a place where people socialised and took time off, even gave birth. The sauna means tradition and must be used with an respect.
All this we brought out with the content and photos created by the client. The client agreed with the focus we wanted to bring to the visual approach and created materials for us to use in the design.
Some projects are based on storytelling and rely heavily on the visual presentation. We still have an initial wireframing phase to set the content, but we move quickly to visualise the ideas so it's easier to discuss them.
With the wireframe we set the main framework and the flow of how to get to order a product. Most of the work was done already with visuals.
This project was a good example of how branding identity is interpreted and developed in the UI design phase. We took a step further from created CVI and together with the client developed it to the next level.
Our development partner ORGO created a custom back-end solution for this project. Just like the client's saunas are handcrafted, so is the code.
One big focus was the SEO solution as the client targeted many EU countries using the website as the main communication tool.
